The BVSC (Bexley Voluntary Service Council) regularly gives out funding information in it's newsletter. Local groups can join for about £8 a year and receive their own regular copy.

NCVYS (National Council for Voluntary Youth Services) produce a magazine, also with funding news. See their website www.ncvys.org.uk .

Youth Opportunity & Capital Fund for children and young people offer grants up to £10,000 to small local community groups, phone Sally Allen on 0208 836 8291       or 07977 173 543.

Also £2000 amounts available through the Bexley Borough Small Grants Scheme, phone 0208 294 6375 and speak to Amanda Flower.

The Headley Foundation gives 250 grants a year up to £5000 for capital costs like building refurbishment and occasionally over £10000 for revenue or project funding. Apply to PT Dunkerley, Secretary 9 Dowgate Hill London EC4R 2SU.

Young Roots, through the Heritage Lottery Fund, aims to help local youth groups to be involved in heritage projects. Phone 020 7591 6042.

Arts Council of Bexley grants are available for people who use the arts as part of their work. Activities might include projects, events and productions! Phone 0207 608 6100.  Groups are members through the BCVYO .
